Snoball is a free platform to enable users to give to whom they want, how they want. Users (individuals, companies, or nonprofits) create "Snoballs" - giving guidelines that specify how they want to give and to whom. These Snoballs can be shared and adapted by other users, creating a “snoball effect” for giving.
We had a great coming out party during the 2012 South by Southwest Interactive Festival in Austin. It was a blast with all the fanfare you would expect from a Snoball bash. There were Titos vodka snow cones, a t-shirt artist that made personalize cartoons, great food from La Madeleine and the pies de resistance Fire Dancers! The pictures are posted on our Facebook page here, and there are three videos of the fire dancer performance taken from our good friends at Geekazine.
The fun didn't stop there! That Tuesday we co-hosted the Sx Fusion II party: Where Music and Tech Collide. It wasn't just live music, and great Austin startups like Vivogig, it was a fundraiser that benefited the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas. We had a ton of fried food and had some great conversations. Those pictures are also on our Facebook page. Warning: We got a little goofy.
To complete our SXSW music fix we closed the fest with the great folks at PeopleFund. Their 17th Street Party at the Rail rocked the house, even though it was outside. Check out the line up of bands here. We, of course, have pictures from that event on... you guessed right, our Facebook page. Just click the picture below for the full set.
